Bassblowaz Club (Neuheit Tuba) Bassblowaz Club is never performed the same way twice. Rap, mouth percussion, mouthpiece improvisation and instrumental improvisation are integral to the work: the score provides the framework, but it is the performers who complete the piece through their creativity, their listening and their spontaneous choices. Each quartet develops its own identity in the process. A genuine meeting point between classical chamber music and the languages of jazz, funk and hip-hop, the work draws on groove, communication and collective listening as much as on technical precision. The quartet becomes, in turn, a rhythm section, an improvising ensemble and a storytelling collective turning every performance into a living, personal artistic collaboration rather than a fixed reproduction of the printed page.
