Monologue 1

Monologue 1 (Commande du Concours International de Tours 2015 Unanimously awarded First prize for Tuba at the CNSM of Lyon (Melvin Culbertson’s class), Fabien Wallerand has been a finalist of the International Guebwiller Competition and a semifinalist in the International Markneukirchen competition. Since 2002, he has been a guest of the Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, Orchestre National de Toulouse, Ensemble Intercontemporain, and Orchestre de Lausanne. Since 2005, he has been giving masterclasses in several international brass festivals (Colombia, Japan, Italy, Spain). From 1999 to 2003 he took part in a tour of France with the Deschamps and Deschamps company (« Les Deschiens ») in the show "Les pensionnaires" written by Jérôme Deschamps and Macha Makeieff. At the same time in 2002 he participated in "Les Sentiments" by Noemie Lvovsky (with Nathalie Baye and Jean-Pierre Bacri), and "Quand la mer monte" by Yolande Moreau and Gilles Porte (Yolande Moreau and Philippe Duquesne) as a actor/musician. Since 2004, Fabien Wallerand is the Solo Tuba player with the Orchestre de l’Opera National de Paris.)
