Siciliano The Siciliano from Sonata No. 2, originally for harpsichord and flute, makes a beautiful transcription for Trumpet or Flugelhorn (the mellower, conical version of a trumpet) and organ. This melody stands on its own as a great example of what made Bach a genius in his time and in ours. With simple progressions and cadences, it draws the listener in and creates a mood of serenity. This is one of Bachs most transcribed works. Parts in B flat and C are provided. This was recorded on "The Lyrical Trumpet"
