Concertino (Kjell Marcussen, a Norwegian composer, has written a new piece for tenor trombone and string orchestra for my daughter, Marie Nøkleby Hanssen. The work is called: "Concertino for trombone and strings", it has 3 movements: Allegro man non troppo, Adagio espressivo, Andantino alla Marcia. The work is commissioned by Bærum Symphony Orchestra with support from Det Norske Komponistfond. In this version the string accompaniment is played by piano to make the piece more accessible to performance.)
