Cascades in Brass (211) Cascades in Brass for Brass Quartet by Jeremy Niles Kempton is a showpiece with lots of sparkle. If the dynamics are faithfully observed at times it will create a rippling effect like that of cascading waterfalls. This piece will add considerable flair in either a concert or church setting. It is intended for advanced performers but actually sounds harder than it is. If the trombonist uses the marked positions he will find it surprisingly easy to keep up with the valved instruments. Instrumentation is for 2 Trumpets in B-flat, Horn in F, and Trombone.
