Lady in Blue The composer writes... I dedicated this song to my co-producer and publisher, Marion Kaempfert who became my wife in 1990. She loved to wear cornflower blue and had a collection of stunning evening dresses in that colour. One on them, a beautiful sequin dress, inspired me for the bell-like introduction played by 8 trumpets with harmon mutes. Bart van Liers performance of the solo trombone theme completed the piece to perfection.
