His first six CDs received unanimous critical acclaim, with Gramophone Magazine describing him as “an elegant, sensitive artist with perfect technique and intonation.” The three concertos herein are standards for the trumpet and the Peaslee is a wonderful 20th-century work featuring flugelhorn.
