The CD was released in September 2010 at the British Open Brass Band Championship at Symphony Hall, Birmingham & awarded British Bandsman CD of the Year 2010. Salt of the Earth Finale is proving popular with other instruments, being recorded on the CD The Bad Tempered Flute - the Flute Music of Andy Scott (Nimbus Alliance), included in the playalong book by Andy Scott & Mark White Access All Areas, and performed by amongst others, the Tempest Flute Trio & Andy Scotts SaxAssault."In a way this arrangement for tuba and piano is a case of coming full circle with Salt of the Earth Finale, in that I have arranged it for Les Neish to premiere at ITEC in Linz, Austria, in June 2012, especially pleasing as Les commissioned and funded the original Concerto!"
