Fantasy over a lutheran choral ("This work is based on a theme from a Lutheran choral work to which I was introduced by a monk friend of mine during my first visit to Paris in 1933, after winning the Rabell Prize. I was very moved by the theme and it has had a recurring place in some of my other works. Here, in a harmonisation for organ, it was the starting point for this fantasy that was first played by Montserrat Torrent (organ) and Francesc Oliver (trumpet) in 1979 on the Baroque organ in Torredembarra (Tarragona)".
