Air for Erin Air for Erin was written in 1991 to celebrate the birth of the Composers first child. Like Erin, the melody has a few surprising turns, but never fails to please the listener. Of all the things Phil has ever written, this work has received the most accolades over the years and he never tires of performing it. Hes very proud of both Erin and her melody! This is a new arrangement for solo trumpet and band. The solo part is identical to that of the version for Organ and Trumpet (available here), and the band parts are grade 3. PDF version includes a music minus one style MP3 file containing "real" wind ensemble accompaniment for practice purposes.
