9:2 Special (5Trp) A great arrangement of the classic swing chart from the Count Basie Band. It is best approached as a straight-ahead swing chart right out of the 30s and 40s. The recording, done here by Micah Bell, is an excellent example of the style. Totally non-pretentious, and really fun to play.
