Israeli Suite This suite for four trumpets was completed in 2001, and is in an approachable and attractive style in a largely tonal idiom. The composer characterises each movement as follows: 1st movement: Lirical & a bit sad. 2nd movement: Happy, funny & laughable (with ‘lots of jokes’ in it..) 3rd movement: Dramatical & Tragic, ‘The victims of terror’ Finale: Marching song, a fanfare for Peace, Freedom, Liberty & Prosperity
