Gymnopédie No.1 (6Pos) (Neuheit Posaune) Saties iconic Gymnopédie No. 1 has been beautifully transcribed for six part Trombone Ensemble by Michael McGuire, director of Bones West. This work is about four minutes in length. The 1st part is for advanced performers, but the other five parts can be performed by intermediate players. Satie sets a very melancholy scene with his revolutionary chords. This is the only version of this work available for Trombone Ensemble, a welcome addition to the repertoire.
