Mozart wurde speziell für die Klavierbegleiter konzipiert, die sich mit ungeschickten Klavierauszügen seit Jahren abplagen. Es lässt sich nicht leugnen, daß die meisten Hornisten, egal wie begabt, niemals dieses Hornkonzert mit Orchesterbegleitung spielen werden. Es ist deshalb unerläßlich, daß der Klavierauszug gut klingt, gut liegt und leicht spielbar ist, denn jeder Hornlehrer weiß wie schwer es sein kann, einen Begleiter für seine Schüler zu finden.
